What’s New in This Release?

With this release, we’ve delivered more than just features, we’ve added functionality that directly supports financial clarity, operational accuracy, and compliance-readiness.

1. QuickBooks Integration

Cattlytics now syncs directly with QuickBooks, pulling your financial data alongside operational records for a complete business picture.

You get a unified view of herd expenses, revenues, and financial summaries, ideal for monthly reviews, tax prep, and investor reports. Plus, syncing your ranch’s financials to your animal records opens up smarter decision-making about cost per head, sale readiness, and long-term budgeting.

2. Steer is Now a Standalone Animal Type

Steers are now tracked as a distinct category, separate from bulls, cows, or calves.

This upgrade eliminates misclassification, improves lifecycle reporting, and enhances marketing accuracy. Whether you’re building out performance metrics or planning feedlot sales, your records will reflect the true composition of your herd.

3. Replacement Heifer Tracking

You can now designate heifers as “replacements” based on breeding status, either manually or through the new activity type: Mark as Replacement Heifer.

This change supports more accurate lifecycle management and forward breeding plans. It also helps with long-term genetic planning by giving you clear visibility into which heifers are retained and why, cutting down on data noise when reviewing historical performance or planning herd expansion.

PDF and Excel reports have been redesigned to offer a cleaner layout, better formatting, and easier printing/sharing.

This update improves professional reporting for audits, compliance, vet handovers, and collaborative team use. You can filter, share, or print reports with confidence, whether you’re sitting in a meeting or prepping for a regulatory review.
